Fund raising is a constant and never-ending tasks since membership in the MCTA is strictly voluntary and it requires an extensive effort on the part of the MCTA’s volunteers to raise the funding needed to support its legal initiatives.
Members of the MCTA have done the lion share of the paralegal research for both lawsuits to keep costs down and saving hundreds of thousands in legal fees. However, legal cost will grow significantly as these suits begin moving through the court systems. Please consider donating to help.
If we don’t continue to focus on this problem, it will come at the cost of the continued increase of taxes, home prices plummeting as residents rush to offload properties, and ultimately, the degradation of the up-north, lake escape we’ve all come to adore.
